Welcome to Care To Paws! With years of experience caring for all types of pets, I give every animal I work with the same love and compassion I give to my own precious cat. My rescue cat is the reason I started pet-care work. He came to me as a foster, and I soon learned he had unexpected trauma-related behavioural issues. I lovingly, patiently nursed him to good physical and mental health, and ended up giving him his forever home —so I have firsthand insight into the special bonds that form through compassionate care.
I became a pet sitter in 2021 to provide the same level of service for other pet parents that I wanted for myself and my precious cat.
Beyond hands-on pet care...
Alongside my experience with animals, I have two decades of professional experience in Executive-level roles in consulting and financial services. So Care to Paws offers a unique benefit: nurturing strong, trusting, client-focused relationships not only with pets, but also with their human parents.
I understand that quality pet care means much more than being an animal lover —it needs perfect communication skills, ensuring every animal's well-being while addressing the needs and concerns of their human families.
Every cat visit includes basic care (feeding, refreshing water, changing litter, etc) as just the minimum. Visits also include playtime, cuddles, and company – on your cat's terms, of course. We know that cats' needs aren't driven by the clock, so a given visit might be longer (for example, if the cat is craving cuddles) or shorter (for example, if the cat is in a more independent mood).
Our pricing structure is uniquely flexible to ensure visits are tailored to the cat's individual preferences, needs and moods. At the end of every visit, in addition to an update on your feline friend, we send you the amount of time spent with the cat (to ensure cat welfare, this will never be less than 20 minutes). At the end of the booking, we average the amount of time spent per day (capped at £30 per visit), and charge based on the bands below:
| Service | Rate per visit |
|---|---|
| Initial meeting and consultation | Free |
| Cat visits Band 1 (daily average of 20-45 mins) | £18 |
| Cat visits Band 2 (daily average of 45-60 mins) | £22 |
| Cat visits Band 3 (daily average of 60-90 mins) | £30 |
| Cat sitting – half day (4 hours) | £45 |
| Cat sitting – full day (8 hours) | £80 |
Our unique pricing structure means that your cat gets the most value for your pet-sitting money – no paying for a sitter to watch the clock while your cat naps, and a guarantee of ample quality time with a cat who is in the mood for company.
Of course, if you prefer a more conventional time-based approach, we will be happy to do that as well – please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Ana is such a wonderful cat sitter for Mimi, and I just wanted to say again how much I appreciate the care she gives her while I’m away. It’s such a comfort knowing Mimi is with someone so calm, kind and attentive. When I come home, Mimi is always so chilled and relaxed, which really says everything about how happy and settled she is in Ana’s care. She’s quite a sensitive little cat, so seeing her so content when I return means a lot to me and reassures me that she’s been beautifully looked after.
I also really appreciate the lovely updates I receive while I’m away. It’s so reassuring to hear how Mimi is doing and to get those little glimpses of her day. Those thoughtful messages make being away from her much easier and always bring a smile.
I’m very grateful to have found someone as wonderful as Ana to look after Mimi.
It's wonderful to have trusted help nearby, but a professional sitter provides consistency, dedicated welfare checks, and trained observation that even well-intentioned casual help might miss. We follow your pet's routine, watch for subtle changes, and provide full updates so you can have total peace of mind.
An automatic feeder is helpful, but it's a complement for a sitter's care, not a substitute. At a minimum, your cat still needs the litter tray cleaned daily, fresh water (and/or a check that the water fountain is still running), a general well-being check, and a trained eye to notice any behavioural or appetite changes. Just as importantly, regular visits also help maintain routine and offer reassurance while you're away. Cats who enjoy company will also benefit from play and companionship.
A wide range. In addition to cats and dogs (the most common clients), we look after birds, small furries and reptiles. If you have an uncommon pet, please contact us with details — we'll confirm whether we can help.
We are based in west London, near Hammersmith. Our core service areas are west, southwest and central London. We consider individual requests outside these areas on a case‑by‑case basis. Contact us to confirm availability for your postcode.
An animal behaviourist is a specialist who assesses why a pet behaves in a particular way and creates humane, evidence‑based plans to resolve issues such as anxiety, aggression, or inappropriate toileting. They combine observation, history-taking and (where needed) liaison with your vet to design a tailored behaviour plan. If your pet seems anxious or is engaging in unwanted behaviours, a behaviourist can help diagnose the cause and work with you to improve your pet's (and your) quality of life.
Care to Paws offers a truly unique combination of experience, education and training, and service provision. We understand that loving animals is only the starting point, and we place equal value on reliability and communication. Our goal is to make your pet as happy as possible, and to give you the peace of mind that comes from knowing your pet is receiving loving, professional care. We are fully insured and DBS checked, and will look after your home as well as we look after your pet.
